I've been thinking about joining Pony Club. I'm 13, and jump 3ft 2in. I've been riding for 6 years and we still have our first horses (well they're kind of ponies i guess) My original horse is 22 so he's getting up there (he was, is, and will always be the best horse ever!). We are keeping him throughout his days, and we have a 9 year old mare who was my sisters horse but she stopped riding, so I've mainly been working with her. I'm growing out with her, she's mainly a children's pony (but for a confident child : ) We're selling her and buying a new horse. We are already looking at 2 geldings. WE have our own barn and pasture, and I ride at a place 15 minutes away. We can't take Bliss (my mare) out there often, and I ride in lessons twice a week on a 15.2 mare or other horses (we tried her out, didn't work). I'm an eventer and once I get a new horse I want to start showing frequently. Time would be the hardest problem, because in the fall I have soccer. I have no friends who ride horses (:( well i have one on facebook) and I now really want to join. The closest (functional) club is 35-40 minutes away. I would really be interested in what they have to offer, like learning new things about horses, testing myself, and all the other things I've heard about. What do you do in your Pony Club? How many meetings do you have? What do you do there? Do you think it wo
